Off to Arts Over Borders 2018!
I can barely believe it, but I'm on my way to Northern Ireland for the VERY FIRST TIME as part of the production team for Arts Over Borders 2018. An astonishing collection of readings, workshops, and site specific performances, AOB brings to light some of my absolute favorite pieces of theatre. This year marks the 3rd Lughnasa Frielfest and the 6th Happy Days International Beckett festival, not to mention works by Chekhov, Homer, and more!
From Enniskillen to Donegal, this Irish lass is finally heading home! Check out the magic to come here !

Presenting 'My Boyfriend is a Truck'
Anyone else always wanted to be a country girl? Well, meet KAYLIE ANN! She's fun, fearless, and also spells her name with a K ... we're basically kindred. You'll rarely find me out of the city, but I had a BLAST shooting this awesome music video with the stellar team at Three Legged Comedy. Something tells me you haven't seen the last of this down home gal :)
Lyrics by Jen McCartney, music by Katie Day, our DP Erin Hughes and killer production partners Zachary Drummer and Jay Balagna.
And of course, can't forget about my hunk of a costar Ridge Honda ... what a stud!

Presenting Excerpts from 'Love Song', by John Kolvenbach
Thrilled to start 2018 off with another release, from John Kolvenbach's sweet and quirky play Love Song!
I can't say enough about the unbelievable team I was lucky enough to work with this time. Director Sarah Beth Comfort took a piece of theatre and effortlessly turned it on its head; DP and Editor Zach Xanders masterfully maneuvered the one bed I gave him to work with; and actor Mark Jacobson - you'll have to watch and see, but safe to say he kept me in stitches all day long. Thanks to them this project was an utter joy to film.
Take a few minutes to play hooky and check it out on my media page or Vimeo!
Presenting ADVANCE
Beyond proud to share the first short film I've produced this year: ADVANCE.
Conceived, written, shot and edited in under a month, I'm so grateful to have worked with our phenomenal Director of Photography and editor Johnny Komar, fantastic Sound Engineer Sam Saravolatz, and of course the brilliant Peter Mitchell - he wrote, directed and starred in this project with me, and we finally fulfilled a dream of working together for the first time since our days at USC!
Please check out the film by heading to my media page or Vimeo.
"Love Song", An Adaptation

Downtown Rep presents "Love's Labour's Lost"
Thrilled to announce I'll be playing Rosaline in Downtown Repertory Theatre's production of... "Love's Labour's Lost"!
It's a role I've always wanted to sink my teeth into ... can't wait to spend the summer in the park with good ol' William Shakespeare. Running July 28th-Aug 20th at the Sierra Madre Shakespeare Festival.
**Extended Aug 25th-Sept 3rd at the historic Pico House LA.
Hans Zimmer Live on Tour
This summer, I had the unbelievable opportunity to work with the legendary team of musicians and crew on Hans Zimmer: Live on Tour as a Production Assistant. Helping to make their shows in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Coachella Valley come to life was an invigorating experience. I've definitely caught the tour bug!

Killian's Commercial Workshop, March Edition
There are many things I'm jazzed about working with Killian McHugh in his Adult Commercial workshop, but one in particular?
His phenomenal dog hangs out in the studio.
Enough said.
Working with Chrome Entertainment!
Excited to learn more about production and entertainment from the wonderful Gerry Pass at Chrome Artists Management.
LA Fest presents 'Homo Destructus'
I'm thrilled to be working on my first production with the team at LA's Ensemble Studio Theatre! As part of this month's LA Fest, EST/LA will be presenting a collection of one acts ... all written by playwrights under the age of 25. Come down to the Atwater Village Theatre on Friday night and see where their minds can take them!
The Workroom: 'Dying City'

Scott Yamamura and I had a wonderful time exploring Christopher Shinn's 'Dying City'. We spent a month as Peter and Kelly, estranged siblings-in-law connected through the sudden, unsettling death of her husband and his brother, Craig.
Around the Clock Play Festival
I'll be performing in RMT's Around the Clock festival on September 25th, and cannot wait!
The Rogue Machine is a company I'm proud to be a part of - they're always thinking of fun and exciting ways to create new work in L.A, and Around the Clock is no exception! Come check out what a bunch of very tired writers, directors, actors and producers can dream up in 24 hours.

8pm Sunday: The show goes on. No matter what.
... Joined SAG-AFTRA!
I'm beyond jazzed to announce that I am now a member of SAG-AFTRA. My card is currently drying off after having an encounter with a few drops of Malbec. When I showed a dear friend she was so excited she toppled the glass. Cheers to that!
The Workroom: "Seminar"
This summer in the Workroom, I've been workshopping Kate from Theresa Rebeck's play 'Seminar'. The phenomenal Alfred Molina stopped by to offer some tips and put me through my paces, Jeanie looking on along the way. What a treat!
Entering 'The Workroom'
"Just because he doesn't look like a violin doesn't mean his techniques should be thought of as less difficult" ~Uta Hagen
When I started a job at a fitness club last year, I had to change my vocabulary a bit ... usually when I say "I need to get a work out in", I mean an acting workout. I am thrilled to be joining Jeanie Hackett's Workroom this month, and with the group's wonderful compilation of classes, workshops, and industry knowledge I am positive I will be getting quite a workout. Here goes!
